Self Catering Wedding Venue at Boondocks Mountain Lodge and Labyrinth

Boondocks is a truly magical place for a wedding or a commitment ceremony. To be in such beautiful surroundings amongst nature makes for an unforgettable experience. Many choose to have their ceremony on the labyrinth and the reception at the lodge.

We are very flexible and encourage couples to do as much or as little as suits their budget.

Many people bring a chef or organise a family member to do the catering for the night before and for the wedding reception. You are welcome to bring your own drinks too with no charge for corkage.

We personally do not do the catering at weddings but can put you in touch with a chef to prepare whatever food you require.

We basically charge a fee for the venue which covers the use of the lodge on the day ofWe can sleep up to 18 people at the lodge plus another 12 close by at Rocklands Lodge on the same property.

We are happy to offer bed and breakfast for those who want to arrive the day before or stay the night afterwards at R450. Alternatively you can bring your own food and just have accommodation for the night at R350.

We can seat 18 comfortably for a sit down meal and have expanded to 40 in the past. This involves a the hire of a canopy and extra chairs and tables.
